Snoqualmie
Tucked into the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, 30 miles east of Seattle, sits the small town of Snoqualmie with approximately 7,500 residents. Perched on the banks of the Snoqualmie River, the town was originally built by the Weyerhaeuser Company to house its employees. Quaint craftsman-style homes line the downtown streets while a newer master-planned community known as Snoqualmie Ridge skirts its western hills. Best known for its spectacular natural landmark; Snoqualmie Falls, a stunning 268 foot high waterfall, tourists visit the area year round. The award-winning Salish Lodge and Spa sits just above the falls providing a popular getaway known for its gourmet dining and luxurious accommodations.
