I initially got into the mortgage business on a whim. I had a friend that was in the business whose boss was starting a mortgage company and said I should talk to him about being a Loan Officer. He was a good guy, told me a little bit about it and said I'd be good at it. That was 1991 and what a great ride this has been. I still love what I do and love the challenges of this business, and all the great people I get to meet and help.

My education background is very non-traditional. I joined the Navy out of high school, became a Navy Diver/ Explosive Ordnance Disposal Assistant, and have traveled and lived all over the world. I've taken a mish-mash of college courses over the years, but never finished. But, I have been a life-long learner. I am a personal development junkie and thrive on getting better in almost every area of my life.

I've been happily married to the woman of my dreams, Kristen, since 1996. We have two amazing children; Lexi, who is attending Washington State University this year as a Freshman, and Nick, who is a Junior at Lake Washington High School. I love to golf, cook, read and travel and currently make Kirkland home.
