Issaquah
Issaquah is planning for its future - today. The Central Issaquah Plan is the City's opportunity to create a vibrant urban center, while also protecting existing neighborhoods and the natural environment.
Sixteen miles east of Seattle, at the south end of Lake Sammamish, approximately 13,000 residents call Issaquah home. The historic downtown maintains its small-town character as it continues to expand with master-planned communities and thriving modern business centers. A Saturday public market, chocolate factory, zoological park, salmon hatchery and endless hiking trails are only a few of the attractions that draw visitors. Several historical societies work together to maintain the charm and beauty of the town’s humble beginnings.
